Geography

Park City is located about 30 minutes east of Salt Lake City, with the local airport, SLC, being about 40 minutes away.

Transit options include taxi, uber, lyft, UTA public transit Trax light rail & bus, airport shuttles, car service, and car rental.

Kimball Junction, exit 145 of of I-80, is your gateway to Park City. The four main areas of Park City are Kimball Junction, Canyons Village, Park City Mountain Resort/Old Town, and Deer Valley. All are on the main drag, Hwy 224, with Canyons Village being 3 miles from Kimball Junction, Park City Mountain Resort/Old Town being 6 miles in, and Deer Valley being 8 miles in.

There are many other areas, neighborhoods, private communities, and beyond that exist in Park City, but my focus is on what I call the core of Park City.

Park City Transit offers free bus shuttling around town, hitting the outlet shopping mall at Kimball Junction, all the way to each of the ski resorts, and everything in between.

UTA offers a commuter bus from Salt Lake City to Kimball Junction.
